NorQuest College has a new opportunity for students interested in our diploma and certificate programs.
The Open Admissions Pathway removes barriers to entry for students who do not meet existing program admission requirements (due to missing high school courses or English language proficiency requirements). Our pathway allows students to begin their studies through Open Studies, earn credits towards their certificate or diploma, and gain entry into the program of their choice.
How it works
Use ApplyAlberta to submit an application. First, choose Open Studies as your program. Then, select one of the Open Admissions Pathway options.
- Accounting Technician,
- Administrative Professional
- Business Administration
- Community Support Worker
- Early Learning and Child Care (diploma or certificate)
- Disability Studies
- Justice
- Indigenous Studies
Enrol as an Open Studies student in any three of the available courses listed below after being admitted to the Open Admissions Pathway.
You must achieve a grade of C or higher in each course to be eligible for admission to the program of your choice.
Once you have enrolled in three courses, submit a separate application for a future term to the program of your choice from the list.
You may request conditional admission to your program of choice once you have enrolled in courses through the Open Admissions Pathway
