What are the current application processing times?

The Admissions team prioritizes applications for the upcoming term over future terms, and processes applications based on the date on which your transcripts or other requirements were received.

How can I check my application status?

Log in to MyQuest and go to Main Menu > Self Service > Student Center to see your application status.

What do I need to do about my 'To Do' list?

Your ‘To Do’ list shows all your outstanding admission requirements. Visit your program’s requirements page to see the requirements you must meet to be admitted. For most programs, the main things you should ensure that we receive are:

How do I get my transcripts sent to you?

See Transcripts for details on getting your official transcripts sent to NorQuest College.

How can I tell if you have received my transcripts?

Log in to MyQuest and go to the Student Center. Under your ‘To Do’ list on the right, select the ‘More’ button. If we have received your transcript, it will show as ‘Received.’

What happens after you review my application?

If you meet all the admission requirements, you will receive an offer of admission. If one or more requirements are not met, we will send your evaluation results to you, along with further options. All communications about your application are sent to your MyMail address.

How do I register in classes?

When will I be able to access my classes in Moodle?

How do I drop a class or withdraw from my program?

Students in most programs can drop classes in MyQuest. If you are unable to do this in MyQuest, email enrolment@norquest.ca with your drop request. Make sure you are aware of Academic and financial consequences of dropping a class. If you want to withdraw from your entire program, submit a Program Withdrawal Form.

How many classes do I need to take to be a full-time student?

The number of credits required to be a full-time student depends on the program you are taking. Scroll down on the Course Listing page for your program to see how many credits you need to be full-time. Students with disabilities may be approved to study full-time with a reduced courseload.

How do I apply for financial aid (grants or loans)?

When is my payment due? Log in to MyQuest to see what you owe. For most programs, tuition and fees for a term must be paid in full by the first day of the term. See Payment for payment options and information about payment deadlines.
How do I apply to graduate?

See the Graduation and Convocation checklist for information.

How can I get a transcript, enrolment verification letter, or program completion letter?
  • You can get an unofficial transcript or request an official transcript through MyQuest. See NorQuest College transcripts for more information.
  • Log in to MyQuest and go to “My Academics” in the Student Center to generate an enrolment verification letter.
  • Once the Office of the Registrar has confirmed that you have completed your program, NorQuest College will send a completion letter to your MyMail address.
