Turn your diploma into a degree
This program prepares you to continue your education and pursue a degree in Therapeutic Recreation to become a professional member with ATRA and work as a Recreation Therapist.
There are two pathways for continuing to a Therapeutic Recreation degree program:
- University of Lethbridge, Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation, year three
- Douglas College, Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation, year three
Your diploma can also qualify you to apply for:
- Athabasca University, Bachelor of Health Administration, up to 42 credits
- Athabasca University, Bachelor of Professional Arts, Human Services, up to 60 credits
- Athabasca University, Bachelor of Science, Human Science (post-diploma), up to 30 credits
- NAIT, Bachelor of Technology in Management
- Thompson Rivers University, Bachelor of Health Science, up to 57 credits
- Thompson Rivers University, Bachelor of General Studies, up to 60 credits
- University of Calgary, Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation
NorQuest can’t guarantee admission or course transfer into a program at another institution. Your application will be assessed based on the entry requirements of the receiving institution.
Course transfer
