- Ensure you are currently employed in a health care aide, continuing care assistant, or similar role with an Alberta employer
- Speak with your manager about the availability of a workplace tutor. The tutor must be employed at the same facility and willing to assess you on your lab and clinical skills at the workplace

Unofficial transcripts must be uploaded in your application.
- Review Transcripts to ensure official transcripts are sent to NorQuest College so we can send you an unconditional Offer Letter

3 Completing your workplace tutor form
Complete the workplace Tutor Employment Confirmation Form online, download it to your computer, and email it to HCA.Workplace@norquest.ca to let us know you’ve applied.
- Only complete page 4 of the sponsorship form if your employer is paying all or part of your tuition.
3 Sending us your supporting documents
- Email copies of your ID, most recent resume, and psych-ed assessment to tep@norquest.ca.
- Once you submit your application, you’ll receive an email from us within a week.
- Using the email prompts, login to MyMail and MyQuest.
- If we think our program might be a good fit for you, we will contact you to schedule a program suitability interview.

- Ask your employer to complete our form confirming that you have active employment at an acute care site and have worked a minimum of 3600 hours. Download the form here.
- Submit employer form to NorQuest College via email to: admissions@norquest.ca
Note:Acute care sites include medicine, surgery, intensive care, cardiac care, pediatrics, emergency departments, operating rooms, or out-patient cast rooms.
