Each NorQuest Bridging applicant must provide proof of English language proficiency (ELP) before admission. These results must be no more than two years old when you start the NorQuest Bridging program.
The following minimum ELP scores are for students who do not need any Academic Upgrading coursework during their Bridging program. Applicants who also need Academic Upgrading need higher ELP scores.

- IELTS Academic: 5.5; no section score below 5.0, and the Listening score must be at least 5.5
- TOEFL iBT: 52
- Duolingo: 95
- minimum of 80% in ESLS 6000 or ESLS 6100, and 80% in ESLW 6000 or ESLW 6100
If you need English as a Second Language courses as part of your Bridging pathway, you may also be accepted based on CLBPA or CLBA scores, or LINC coursework completed.
