Foundations for Learning

NorQuest College has partnered with the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP) to offer high school and college preparatory programming, as well as English language training, in communities around Alberta.

Foundations for Learning includes a range of 12-week online courses designed primarily for rural learners. Each course includes approximately 45 hours of instructor-led activities presented in an online real-time or online anytime delivery format. In addition, 30 hours of in-person tutorial support are available to you for free in your community at the local CALP provider.

What to expect from the program

With a reduced tuition rate of only $150 per course (plus fees and books) for Canadian and permanent resident students, no application fee, and flexible start dates, Foundations for Learning offers you a way to get started on your post-secondary path right away. Simply select the course you are interested in and register using this form. If you aren’t sure where your local CALP is, your instructor can help.
