Arts and Sciences Diploma

Laddering opportunities

Students who successfully complete NorQuest's Arts and Sciences diploma program with a minimum 2.0 GPA may be eligible for admission to:

Completion of NorQuest’s Arts and Sciences program does not guarantee university admission. Students must proceed with the application process and meet the entrance requirements (such as GPA, high school prerequisites, and English language proficiency) of their chosen institution.

Students may also be eligible to receive transfer credit for other programs at NorQuest College, as well as other university and college programs.

Transferability

NorQuest works together with the University of Alberta and MacEwan University to establish new course transfer agreements. Some courses may transfer as advanced credit, meaning they directly replace specific university courses, while others may count as general credit toward elective or degree requirements.

Other post-secondary institutions in Alberta and across Canada may also accept transfer credits from NorQuest College. Visit Transfer Alberta to check how your courses transfer to the University of Alberta, MacEwan University, and others.

Students should consult the Arts and Sciences Academic Program Advisor to ensure they meet transfer requirements.
