Business, Project, and Process Improvement Advanced - XBUS 1682

As a follow-up to XBUS 1681 Business, Project, and Process Improvement Fundamentals, this advanced course will continue to address the need to “do more with less” by helping to build capacity through advanced targeted, pragmatic training to execute not just department-specific, but also company-wide process improvement initiatives. Specific needs in the planning and execution of company-wide process improvement initiatives will be addressed, including how knowing user requirements can lead to the creation of a complete long-term solution, how understanding customers’ expectations can lead to continuous improvement, how achieving the objectives of one project can lead to achieving objectives on all company projects, how streamlining production for one process can lead to lean initiatives company-wide, and finally, how reducing barriers to change can lead to improving change management transitions.


What to expect

Participants will learn advanced skills in business analysis, quality management, project management, lean enterprise, and change management. The focus will be to teach participants to know:

  1. That user requirements can lead to the creation of a complete long-term solution.
  2. Meeting the customer’s expectations can lead to continuous improvement.
  3. Achieving the objectives of one project can lead to achieving objectives on all company projects.
  4. Streamlining production for one process can lead to lean initiatives company-wide.
  5. Reducing barriers to change can lead to improving massive change management transitions.
  6. The advanced role of the Change Champion in communicating change.
  7. How to implement PATs or Process Action Teams to help make change permanent.
