Managerial Excellence

Taught by experienced local professionals, Managerial Excellence will teach you the skills and framework that businesses are using today. The program is designed to be highly focused and interactive so that you will develop strategic management and leadership skills in just 12 weeks. You will earn a microcredential certificate upon completion of the program, which is comprised of three badges: Managerial Leadership, Inspiring Teams, and Organizational Management.

  • Leadership courses taught by experienced industry leaders.
  • A curriculum built with an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion lens.
  • A “Leadership Opportunity Challenge" for learners to transfer knowledge and skills learned within the program to authentic workplace situations.

What is a Microcredential

A series of carefully curated learning activities that provide learners with opportunities to gain specific skills or competencies that are workforce relevant and valued by employers, without enrolling in a credential program. The outcome can be shared digitally and allows employers to easily identify candidates who have mastered a specific skill set for success in their industry.

What to expect from the program

This is an online program taught in real-time with instructors skilled in leadership and management with practical organizational experience. Self-paced activities complement the virtual lectures and include simulations, on-the-job scenarios, and relevant reading assignments. The program concludes with a capstone presentation that incorporates concepts from one of the badges.

Everything was extremely well organized: the materials were posted in advance, all presenters used current research information, all sessions started on time, assignment explained at the beginning of the sessions. The most impressive was the selection of the presenters: all of them are professionals with real life experiences, high achievers in various fields of business, great leaders themselves, genuine and empowering others.
