The Apprenticeship Prep program is designed to prepare you for the trade entrance exam and entry into one of 50+ designated trades. The focus of the program is on upgrading, practical trades training, and facilitated work experience.
What to expect from the programThe program has two terms: the first term focuses on essential skills and workplace culture. You will receive instruction in math, science, computers, employability, and practical trades skills, all of which will prepare you to write the Apprenticeship Entrance Exam for levels 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. In the second term, you will participate in a work experience component.
Graduate with experienceNorQuest College believes in the importance of on-the-job experience that provides an enriched learning opportunity. You’ll graduate this program with 365 hours of field experience in your chosen trade.
