This badge introduces learners to the concept of behaviour as a form of communication. It explores how relationships and environments influence the behaviour of children and youth. Learners will begin to understand positive, supportive approaches to behaviour and the importance of building strong, respectful relationships. The badge also focuses on creating nurturing environments and using basic strategies to encourage positive behaviour. In addition, learners will be introduced to simple, respectful methods for observing and describing behaviour in constructive ways.
