Medical Terminology II: Abbreviations and Body Systems - XHLT 1006

This course provides a broader foundation in Medical Terminology to supplement the XHLT 1005 (Introduction to Medical Terminology) course.  It focuses on approved abbreviations, body systems and body cavities.  This course will appeal to  students who have taken XHLT 1005 or to students entering the health care field who want an additional foundational course before starting. Students who successfully complete XHLT 1006, along with XHLT 1005 and XHLT 1007 (Medical Terminology III), may request PLAR credit towards HLTH 1003 (Medical Terminology).
