As Alberta’s technology industry continues to grow rapidly, understanding data and analysis continues to be one of the top digital skills needed by Alberta employers. This three-week workshop course will train you to understand the fundamentals of data analytics along with the basic math skills required to efficiently process the data commonly seen in businesses across a wide range of industries. These in-demand skills will give you an edge in your everyday job or help you to understand data as you transition to a new career or opportunity. Throughout the duration of the training, you will be introduced to the different aspects of data analytics in business, including data governance and strategy, and will learn the fundamentals of creating and evaluating a basic data set.
