Therapeutic Cardiopulmonary and Preventative Care - THPR 1101

Learn the importance of infection control, proper limb-handling techniques, and chest physical therapy techniques. Gain the skills to position clients properly to promote client safety and comfort and prevent complications. Practise hands-on techniques through simulated clinical scenarios. All students taking this course will be required to attend the scheduled in-person lab(s) at NorQuest College Edmonton campus.

Note: Prerequisite THPR 1100. Restricted to Interdisciplinary Therapy Assistant.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
