Therapeutic Mobility - THPR 1100

Learn and apply the principles of therapeutic mobility within a rehabilitation context, including body mechanics, functional mobility, bed mobility, lifts and transfers, gait retraining, fitting gait aids, operating wheelchairs, and seating mechanics. Practise documenting and reporting interventions and findings. All students taking this course will be required to attend the scheduled in-person lab(s) at NorQuest College Edmonton campus.

Note: Co-requisites: ANPH 1000, ENGL 2510. Restricted to Interdisciplinary Therapy Assistant.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
