Pharmacotherapy II - PHRM 1014

Examine the pathological processes that underlie diseases and disorders of the endocrine, reproductive, genitourinary, and nervous systems (including mental health). Study the medications used to manage and treat related medical conditions including their generic and brand names, place in therapy, mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, precautions, adverse effects, auxiliary labels, and other considerations as they pertain to the pharmacy technician’s scope of practice.

Note: Prerequisites: ANPH 1000, PHRM 1000. Restricted to Pharmacy Technician.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
