Critical Thinking - PHIL 1000

This foundational course will introduce students to essential critical thinking, literacy, and analytical skills for post-secondary programs, including: data literacy and analysis; media literacy and analysis; cultural literacy and ways of knowing, including Indigenous epistemologies; academic integrity; library resources and study skills; and academic research skills, including source evaluation. Students will also access academic resources and supports from other areas of the college, including the Learner Centre.

Note: Restricted to Arts and Sciences Diploma and Open Studies.
