Haley first encountered NorQuest Esports last year at a table in the school auditorium. Drawn by the opportunity to play the games she loves and meet new people, she decided to join the Varsity program and quickly discovered the fun of competing alongside like minded students.

Her gamertag, HaleyMay555, is a combination of her first and middle name along with her favorite number repeated three times a personal touch that reflects her playful side. In Call of Duty, Haley enjoys running around the enemy team, bringing energy and creativity to her matches.

Known for her steady gameplay, Haley’s teammates describe her as someone who plays well and brings reliability to the team. She balances her competitive drive with a lighthearted approach that keeps the team atmosphere enjoyable.

Outside of gaming, Haley enjoys reading, watching YouTube, and scrolling through Instagram, finding ways to relax and recharge. Her background in sports has also helped her excel in teamwork, bringing collaboration and communication skills to the Varsity roster.

Shane "Shiree" Quiroz

Shane first got involved with NorQuest Esports when NEON members approached him to see if he played games. After being invited to try out, he discovered the opportunity to play his favorite FPS games and meet new people, leading him to join the Varsity program.

His gamertag, Shiree, was inspired by his girlfriend’s middle name while choosing a new alias for Call of Duty Challengers a personal touch that stuck. Shane excels as a flex SMG in Call of Duty, with communication being his greatest strength.

Known for being loud, having great comms, and demonstrating leadership, Shane brings energy and guidance to his team. He balances competitive drive with a fun and social approach that strengthens team cohesion.

Outside of gaming, Shane enjoys basketball and spending time outdoors, using these activities to refresh and stay active. His social skills and willingness to engage with others translate into valuable contributions during gameplay and team interactions.

Shane’s advice to students considering Varsity: "Joining was definitely hard for me, but in the end, it was worth it. Meeting the staff and people from other game titles was super fun. I’d highly recommend joining if you’d like to improve your gaming skills/play competitively."
