The Living Library

The Living Library is an opportunity for a volunteer speaker to share with a small group of Listeners a story from their life that reflects their unique experience of culture, spirituality, disability, gender, or identity.
The next installment of the Living Library is set to take place online and in-person January 23-25, 2024. At its core, this is a learning activity that enables us to practice “we are who we include” through conversation and listening.
Past events have featured a range of experiences – stories of struggle and resilience, joy, and celebration – all shared with the intent to build empathy and challenge discrimination. Everyone is welcome to apply to be speaker or attend as a listener, including staff, students, and those outside the NorQuest community!
