November 28 is Giving Tuesday, a global movement dedicated to giving back. This year NorQuest is partnering with the Students Association of NorQuest College (SANQC) to raise funds for the Student Emergency Foodbank.
Many members of our community are facing a number of hardships and at NorQuest College we have experienced a record number of students dealing with food insecurity. Requests for support have nearly tripled over the past few years. This can affect a student’s ability to learn as well as force students to make decisions that may drastically alter or abandon their educational journey. This Giving Tuesday, help remove the barrier of food insecurity so that NorQuest students can focus on what’s important: making their educational goals a reality.
