Identification (ID) card eligibility:
- New students are eligible for a NorQuest Student ID card once enrolled in classes.
- Students in Health programs may also be eligible for a printed clinical ID card.
Use your NorQuest Student ID card to:
- show proof that you are a NorQuest student when accessing college services and to participate in campus events,
- serve as your NorQuest College library card,
- access discounts and offers available to post-secondary students.
How to get your student ID card
The NorQuest Student ID is now digital. So, you can skip the start of term line-up and have your ID handily available on your phone!
- Visit studentid.norquest.ca to submit a photo and provide a government-issued ID for verification (use your NorQuest email and the secure single-sign-on (SSO) passcode option). You will also receive this link in your college email.
- Next, download the “AVRO Mobile” application from the Apple or Google Play Store (Again, use your NorQuest email and secure single-sign-on (SSO) passcode to activate your card). Your photo will be displayed once it is approved by our Student Service Centre team.
If you have any issues with your online links, please check out the directions on our Student Help page.

Optional: You may also visit the Office of the Registrar in-person to have your photo taken and/or receive a physical card. Students should keep their card for the duration of their studies. Please note: there is a $15 + GST charge for a replacement physical card to be issued.
We recommend you get your student ID card before the first day of classes.

Clinical ID cards
- Students who are attending a clinical placement through their Health studies are required to have a physical clinical ID card for identification at their placement site.
- Make sure you receive your clinical ID card well before your first clinical placement occurs; you can pick up the physical card at the Office of the Registrar.
If you are an ongoing student, have not received a clinical ID card before, or if you live outside Edmonton and are unable to pick up in-person please email info@norquest.ca to request one be printed.
