Indigenous Student Advisor

NorQuest College’s Indigenous Student Advisor is committed to assisting Indigenous applicants and students in achieving their educational goals. The Indigenous Student Advisor is available for individual appointments for help with the following services:

• completing the application process and identifying funding options
• updating learner plans, goal setting or changes, attendance, progress, and course changes  
• providing information on NorQuest College programs and courses
• liaising between student, funder, and various college programs and service areas
• connecting with funders regarding funding, student progress, attendance, and program withdrawals
• providing information and referrals for supports including Indigenous Elders, community services, and the RBC Indigenous mentorship Program
• connecting students with carious cultura events, ceremonies, and feasts throughout the year
