Scholarships, Bursaries, and Awards

NorQuest International offers students the opportunity to receive financial recognition for outstanding achievement, academic excellence, financial need, leadership, community service and contribution to campus life. The scholarships below are specifically funded by NorQuest International, but there are other scholarships available to international students. New Questers International Entrance Scholarship

Established to reward academic excellence by international students graduating from international high schools and entering studies at NorQuest College. All students must meet certain eligibility criteria for the scholarship.

Value: $1000

Applicable programs (for Winter 2021):

Eligibility criteria:

Scholarship applicants must:

  • have a valid study permit
  • have applied to one of the applicable programs for Winter 2021 by October 31, 2020
  • be paying international student tuition and fees
  • provide a statement of equivalent Alberta marks showing academic standing of 70%/B-/2.7 or higher (not applicable to NorQuest Bridging to Post-Secondary)
  • provide a personal letter describing their educational and career goals

Students must successfully be enrolled in their program before applying.

Awards will be disbursed when student has completed 50% of the term.

Students will be notified closer to the application start date.

When the applications will open?
The applications will open on November 9, 2020.

When is the submission deadline for Winter?
Applicants must complete the application and submit all the required documents by November 23, 2020.

Academic Excellence Scholarship for International Students in Business or Community Studies

Awarded to an international student attending NorQuest College on a study permit who is enrolled in a full-time Business or Community Studies program that is a minimum of eight months or longer, and having completed at least one term. Learn more.

International Student Community Developer Award

Awarded to an international student attending NorQuest College on a study permit who is enrolled in a full-time credit program. Learn more.

International Student Emergency Bursary

Awarded to an international student (on a study permit) in anticipated emergency. Email awards@norquest.ca for more information.

International Student Integrity Award

Awarded to an international student attending NorQuest College on a study permit who is registered in a full-time career program that is a minimum of eight months or longer. Learn more.
