Study and work abroad opportunities for students

UNOChapeco (International Internship Program)

Located in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, Brazil, Unochapecó is maintained by the University Foundation for the Development of the Western Region (FUNDESTE). Different from other institutions, Unochapecó is recognized as a nonprofit university, which means that its main role is to contribute to social development through investments in education, production and access of knowledge, citizenship, culture and empowerment of the social agents.

NorQuest College maintains an institutional partnership with Unochapecó focused in the mobility of students, staff and faculty across all faculties. For students interested in pursuing paid work abroad opportunities in Brazil, UNOCHAPECO offers an international internship program. The program selects foreign students and pairs them with companies and institutions located in Chapecó City, for a minimum of a four-week practicum, and up to six months. Although preferred, participants do not have to speak Portuguese and placements are often paid.
