How to Apply

Applying Online

ApplyAlberta is an online application system and is the easiest way to apply.

Note: you will have to submit your transcripts separately.

  1. Visit ApplyAlberta.
  2. Pay your $150 application fee with a credit card and submit your application.
  3. Receive acknowledgement from the college. As an applicant/student, you are automatically set up with a NorQuest student email (MyMail) and student centre (MyQuest) account. Email responses will be sent to your MyMail student email account, not your personal email accounts; ensure you are checking your MyMail and MyQuest frequently.
  4. Submit all required documents—including official transcripts/diplomas/certificates, prerequisite documents, English language proficiency (ELP) results and other admission requirements—to NorQuest College as soon as possible.
  5. Receive admission decision: An official Letter of Admission will be issued by NorQuest College once all admission requirements are deemed to have been met.
  6. Obtain a study permit or student visa for a program longer than six months. You will also need to use NorQuest College's Designated Learning Institution (DLI) number on your application. NorQuest's DLI number is O18795996622. Contact the Canadian embassy or consulate in your home country for details. Visit www.cic.gc.ca.
  7. Accept NorQuest College’s Offer of Admission and reserve your seat in a program by paying the $1000 tuition deposit. See norquest.ca/tuition for details. You can pay the deposit with credit card (Visa or Mastercard), certified cheque, bank draft, money order, or wire transfer. Email international@norquest.ca for wire transfer details.

Applying By Mail or Email

If you are unable to apply online, you can apply by mail or email. If you're applying by mail, consider mail delivery times and apply early.

  1. Download the NorQuest College Application for Admission (405K pdf) form
  2. Complete and submit the form, along with the $150 application fee, to:

    NorQuest College
    Office of the Registrar
    10215 108 Street NW
    Edmonton, Alberta  T5J 1L6
    or
    admissions@norquest.ca

We accept money orders or certified cheques for application fees sent via mail.

  3. Follow steps 3-7 above in the Applying Online section.

Note: NorQuest College reserves the right to grant or refuse admissions to any individual. Individuals providing false or incomplete information to gain admission will have their application terminated.

Before you apply

  1. See your specific program of choice for both academic and non-academic requirements, prerequisite details and any pre-screening program interview arrangements, if required.
  2. Have the appropriate application fee in the correct form. Applications submitted without the correct application fee will not be processed.
