Before you apply during COVID-19
What’s important to know before you apply during COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still welcoming and encouraging international students to apply. However, there are potential risks and uncertainty with our program offerings (online or in person) that international students need to be aware of. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid study permit before the program starts as NorQuest College does not have a deferral policy and refund policy due to visa rejection.
The Health Care Aide and Practical Nurse programs cannot be offered online. If you are admitted in a program that cannot be offered online, and you fail to obtain a study permit on time and can't travel to Canada, you will lose your application fee, tuition deposit, and part of your tuition (depending on when you withdraw from the program).
Email international.recruitment@norquest.ca if you have further questions or concerns.
