Nursing Foundations II: Basic Nursing - NFDN 1002

This second nursing foundations course builds on the theory and skills learned in Term 1, with a focus on the client and the nurse-client relationship. Topics include the metaparadigm of nursing, safety, professionalism, and leadership, with a focus on the application of these concepts to the client. In the lab setting, students apply theory, practise skills, and competently perform the selected nursing skills required for effective clinical practice.
