Settlement Studies Field Experience II - SETT 2025

This field experience provides students with an opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge of the role of the Settlement/Intercultural Services Provider under the supervision of the College field experience supervisor and a designated mentor in a community setting. This field experience builds on the skills developed in field experience I and focuses on working with diverse individuals, families, and communities in an intercultural context. During this field experience, students will apply knowledge and skills learned over the course of the program.

Note: Prerequisites: COMM 1001, COMM 1007, COMP 1016, DISB 1002, COSW 1005, SETT 1000, SETT 1010, SETT 1020, SETT 1025, SETT 1030, and SETT 1040, or completion of COSW 1200, or permission from SSD program. Restricted to SSD.
