Recovery-Oriented Skills 2 - MHSD 2004

Learners will gain a more comprehensive understanding of forms of counselling and psychotherapy approaches used to treat complex mental health and addiction issues. Learners will acquire a deeper understanding of their professional positioning and scope of practice as mental health and addiction support workers relative to the work of counsellors, social workers, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare workers they will work alongside and support. **This course will feature a CSL component of 30 hours of student community agency volunteering.

Note: Prerequisites: MHSD 1004. Restricted to Mental Health and Addiction Support Worker.
