Fundamentals of Addiction - MHSD 1005

This course aims to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of addiction, including causes, effects, and treatment approaches. The focus is on understanding the biological, psychological, and social aspects of addiction, contributing factors, as well as prevention and recovery-oriented approaches to the treatment of various forms of addiction.

Note: Restricted to  Mental Health and Addiction Support Worker.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
