Fundamentals of Mental Health - MHSD 1001

This course aims to provide learners with a foundational understanding of mental health, including its importance, key concepts, and common mental health issues. The focus is on understanding factors that promote mental well-being, understanding the social determinants of health, understanding mental health disorders, and exploring various approaches to treatment and support.

Note: Restricted to  Mental Health and Addiction Support Worker.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
