LINC Works 5 - Work Experience Preparation - LINC 5025

Prepare for the Canadian workforce by learning the language and essential skills needed for success. Strengthen your listening and reading comprehension through interactive activities that model workplace situations. Improve your spoken and written communication skills, which will make you more confident in authentic workplace contexts. Sample topics in class will include resumé and interview skills, workplace expectations, and communication skills. LINC 5305, a 10-week work experience, is a co-requisite for this course. Students must have completed CLB level 5 or LINC Works 5 prior to taking this course. Lecture hours will be comprised of a variety of activities in a variety of learning environments.

Note: Restricted to Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
