CLB 5W - LINC 5015

Learn the language and essential skills needed for success in the Canadian workplace. Strengthen your listening and reading comprehension through interactive activities that model workplace situations. Improve your spoken and written communication skills, which will make you more confident in authentic workplace contexts. Sample topics in class will include employment goals, basic workplace safety, and workplace culture. Course content may include the language and skills you need to achieve a workplace certificate such as First Aid or WHMIS (the specific certificate will be determined based on class needs). Lecture hours will be comprised of a variety of activities in a variety of learning environments.

Note: Restricted to Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC).


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
