In this course, students will develop the abilities necessary to lead the implementation and evaluation of quality safety programs within a variety of settings. The role of leaders and advanced governance principles for quality and safety will be examined in relation to the promotion of holistic, client-centred care and the associated barriers. Students will acquire the skills to build a culture of high performance, innovation, reform, and safety.

Note: Prerequisite HLTH 1200. Restricted to Health Care Leadership.
