Surgical Instrument Processing I - HLTH 1103

This course equips students to perform the core skills of an MDRT. Students will develop the skills necessary to perform technical functions with surgical instruments and medical equipment. This course focuses on equipment identification and classification, decontamination, and assembly.

Note: Prerequisite HLTH 1105. Restricted to Medical Device Reprocessing Technician.


The course has a mixture of online and in-person instruction.
