Surgical Instrument Processing II - HLTH 1101

This course equips students with the necessary knowledge and processes to perform the core skills of a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT). Students will develop the skills necessary to sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment. This course focusses on sterilization, storage, and professional responsibilities.

Note: Prerequisites: HLTH 1103, HLTH 1105. Restricted to Medical Device Reprocessing Technician.


The course has a mixture of online and in-person instruction.
