Introduction to Medical Orders - HLTH 1022

Learn about and practise processing medical orders in a hospital setting. Gain experience working with orders for admissions, transfers, diagnostic tests, medical treatments, medications, and pre- and post-operative treatments.

Note: Prerequisite HLTH 1003. Co-requisite: HLTH 1004. Restricted to Hospital Unit Clerk.


This course is offered in an online setting. There are no scheduled classes, and you will learn at your own pace. Courses have start and end dates, assignments may have due dates assigned to them. The lab portion of this course may need to be completed in-person.
