In this course, students will develop the organizational skills and leadership styles necessary for the effective management of early child care programs. The focus will be on skills for managing group child care and early education facilities. Topics such as program philosophy and policy design, financial management, staff development, and relationships with families and community will be highlighted. Child care regulations and licensing policy for the Province of Alberta will also be covered.Note: Restricted to Early Learning and Childcare Diploma
