Education Assistant Field Experience - EDAS 1200

This practicum will provide students with opportunities to make connections between theory and practice by linking their learning with practical, professional experiences in a classroom or community agency.  In seminar, the students will extend their understanding of the role of the educational assistant through engaging in reflections, discussions, and learning activities, and explore Indigenous ways being and knowing. Students will also learn about the school board application process and develop a professional portfolio.

Note: Prerequisite EDAS 1000. Restricted to Educational Assistant. Student enrollment will close 45 days prior to the official start date of the course.
