Machine Learning Work Integrated Project II - CMPT 3835

This course builds on the foundational project experience developed in CMPT 3830 and focuses on the implementation, integration, and professional delivery of applied machine learning solutions. Working in teams, students develop deployable, real-world machine learning applications based on domain-specific business cases and datasets provided by local organizations, with an emphasis on operational fit, documentation, and adoption. Students engage in the applied project lifecycle, including problem refinement, data strategy, model selection and evaluation, deployment planning, and stakeholder communication, with an emphasis on developing solutions that align with organizational workflows and operational constraints.

Note: Prerequisite CMPT 3830 and CMPT 2150. Restricted to Machine Learning Analyst.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
