Insurance - BUSD 2041

The purpose of this course is to provide detailed information on insurance and how it is used to mitigate risk. Insurance will be discussed in detail from the perspective of the individual, business succession, and the insurance industry. Topics will include the principles of insurance, needs analyses for life, disability and critical care, and home and car insurance. The need for protection from loss of income, long-term care, disability income, employee benefits, and government benefits will also be covered.
