Training and Development - BUSD 2017

Training and Development is based on the premise that employees are the most important asset of an organization. With increasing global competition and economic challenges, continuous learning and competency development is fundamental for organizations to be able to compete, adapt, innovate, and achieve organizational goals. This course examines the functional role of training and development within an organization as well as the importance of assessing training and development needs, designing and administering training and development programs, and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of such programs.

Note: Prerequisite BUSD 1009. Restricted to Business Administration and Open Studies.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
