Audio Post-production - AUDI 1560

This course will provide training for students on a wide variety of fundamentals and best practices in the audio industry. Participants will use techniques such as editing, spotting, sound file de-noising, voiceover, ambience and sfx recording as well as digital signal processing and metadata tagging. They will also complete exercises and workshops designed to train and tune their ears for deep listening while learning specific industry terminology that will help categorize and classify types of sounds. Through both group and individual work, students will also have a chance to collaborate and share their ideas and discoveries in preparation for their work placements. Exercises have been developed to simulate real world objectives and to prepare learners on industry standard software and hardware.
