Supportive Counselling Skills - ADRP 1014

The course blends theory and practice to integrate communication and interview skills with theoretical models and concepts to provide a framework for client assessment. Through simulation activities, develop a systematic approach to effectively assess and intervene with clients utilizing the Transtheoretical model of change and motivational interviewing.

Note: Restricted to Addictions Recovery Practitioner.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
