Prize
Four (4) $1,000 tuition credits will be awarded following the NorQuest College Open House on October 17, 2026.
The tuition credit can be applied to tuition for credit courses only. It cannot be applied to ancillary fees, such as Student Services fees.
How to enter
- No purchase is necessary.
- To enter, complete and submit an entry at the NorQuest College Open House on October 17, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- Limit of one entry per person.
- Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Who is eligible
To be eligible for the Tuition Prize, entrants must:
- Be eligible to attend NorQuest College and meet all applicable admission requirements or course prerequisites.
- Start classes at NorQuest College by September 2027. An exemption may apply where a program has a waitlist.
- Be starting a new program at NorQuest College. Students continuing in the same program from a previous term, including students entering the second or subsequent year of their program, are not eligible.
- Be 18 years of age or older within the first term of their program, or be under 18 and have a high school diploma.
- Not be an employee of NorQuest College.
- Not be a resident of Quebec.
Meeting the contest eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission to a NorQuest College program or registration in a course. Regular admission requirements and processes continue to apply.
Selecting and contacting winners
- Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries the week following Open House.
- Selected entrants will be contacted within five business days of the contest closing date.
- Before being declared a winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing mathematical question during a pre-arranged telephone interview or by mail.
- All decisions related to the selection process are final.
- If a selected entrant is unable or unwilling to meet the contest requirements, they will be disqualified and another eligible entry will be selected.
Accepting the prize
Before receiving the Tuition Prize, each winner must sign a declaration and release confirming:
- Compliance with these rules and acceptance of the Tuition Prize as offered.
- That NorQuest College, the Tuition Prize suppliers and their agents are not responsible for injury, accident, loss or misfortune related to the Tuition Prize.
- Permission for NorQuest College and its agents to publish or broadcast the winner's name, picture, address, voice and statements without additional compensation beyond the Tuition Prize.
Tuition credit conditions
- The Tuition Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, exchanged, substituted or converted to cash.
- The tuition credit cannot be applied to tuition that has already been paid, including where a student has pre-registered and paid a deposit or full tuition.
- If a winner withdraws from their program or course, no cash refund will be provided.
- Winners are responsible for any costs associated with verifying, claiming or redeeming the Tuition Prize.
General conditions
- All entries become the property of NorQuest College and will not be returned.
- NorQuest College reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time for any reason.
- The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and tax regulations.
