Emerging Leaders Program

Lead. Mentor. Inspire.

The NorQuest International Emerging Leaders Program is a one-term leadership development experience designed to empower students to make a real difference—on campus, in their communities, and in their personal and professional lives. Whether you're passionate about mentoring others, organizing events, or building your public speaking skills, this program offers hands-on opportunities to grow while supporting fellow international students.

What is the Emerging Leaders program?

Each term, we select 15 students who are eager to lead and support their peers. As an Emerging Leader, you’ll take on a variety of meaningful roles such as:

  • Mentoring 1 to 5 new international students
  • Leading campus events, workshops, and activities
  • Facilitating student-focused discussions and presentations
  • Representing NorQuest International at cultural and networking events

You’ll also receive exclusive access to leadership training, personalized coaching from our team, and opportunities to network with other changemakers on campus.

What you’ll gain

By the end of the term, you’ll walk away with:

  • Stronger leadership, communication, and event planning skills
  • A $500 honorarium for your time and commitment
  • A personalized certificate of recognition
  • Eligibility for reference letters and leadership-based awards
  • Valuable experiences to boost your resume or scholarship applications
