- active licensure in Canada with a health or human services governing body

The Mental Health Recovery Practitioner program will provide a viable career pathway for those entering the mental health field. Graduates of the Mental Health Recovery Practitioner program may pursue further education at the bachelor’s and master’s level, in areas such as social work, addictions, mental health, program administration, management and/or research.
- Most employers in this field require excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Recognition of international education to meet employment qualifications will vary based on employer.
