Overview

Are you new to Canada? NorQuest College supports your settlement in Alberta and Canada by offering courses that will help you develop basic English language proficiency, settlement knowledge, and essential skills to prepare you for further education or career options.

Our classes range from basic literacy to CLB 6 and include full-time and part-time (evenings) in-person, hybrid, rural, and online delivery options. We also offer specialized courses such as American Sign Language, Youth LINC, employment preparation courses such as LINC Volunteer and LINC Works, and a Prep for Online Learning course to help prepare our students who would like to study online. Our flexible delivery options allow you to study at your own pace and at a time of your choice to achieve your educational goals.

Our educational streams allow students of similar educational backgrounds to learn together. In addition to language and settlement training, our learner support services, career-oriented environment and supports such as employment certificate training, and college activities help newcomers advance their learning, provide clear pathways to employment, and boost their confidence.

Tuition for LINC is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. There are no fees or tuition for eligible students.
