    Overview

Are you new to Canada? NorQuest College supports your settlement in Alberta and Canada by offering courses that will help you develop basic English language proficiency, settlement knowledge, and essential skills.

Our community service learning activities are designed to provide learning opportunities while making a meaningful contribution to the community and will prepare you for further education or career options.

Our classes range from basic literacy to CLB 8, and include full-time and part-time (evenings) in-person, hybrid, rural, and online delivery options. We also offer specialized courses such as American Sign Language, Youth LINC, employment preparation courses such as LINC Works, LINC Preparation for Childcare Work, LINC Volunteer, and a Digital Literacy course to help prepare our students to study online. Our flexible delivery options allow you to study at your own pace and at a time of your choice to achieve your educational goals.

When you apply to the LINC program, certain personal information is collected and shared with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. For details about why your personal information is collected and how your information is protected and used, see Gathering information to better meet the needs of newcomers to Canada.

Settlement in French communities is possible in Canada. Email LINC@norquest.ca for more information on available French settlement services.

Tuition for LINC is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. There are no fees or tuition for eligible students.
