Join us on Friday, April 24, 2026, as NorQuest College celebrates the power of applied research, innovation, and community collaboration at our annual Research and Innovation Showcase. This signature event highlights how students, staff, and community partners work together to drive meaningful change—locally and beyond.

Building on the success of past showcases, including the vibrant 2025 poster event that featured interactive research presentations, hands‑on demonstrations, and community engagement, the 2026 Showcase expands into a full half‑day experience with presentations, panels, posters, and awards. 

What to expect:

Collaborative research on display

Explore innovative student, staff, and community-partner research projects addressing real-world challenges. The Showcase invites you to learn, ask questions, and discover new ideas shaping the future of our communities.

A dynamic mix of presentations & activities

• Student, staff, and partner research presentations (12 concurrent sessions)
• Interactive posters and community booths
• Networking opportunities
• Mini games and engagement activities
• Complimentary snacks and refreshments
• Vote for your favourite poster for a chance to win a NorQuest swag

These elements follow the rich tradition of NorQuest’s applied research culture highlighted in past years, where interactive displays and hands-on demonstrations were central to the attendee experience.

To further support emerging researchers, we will also be offering Research Poster Workshops for those new to research dissemination. Workshops will be held on April 2, 9, and 16. Participants can register through LRN to attend a session.
