Edmonton - miyo-pimâtisiwin Indigenous Students Centre, SCFL 1-151
Shape the future: Take part in the Indigenous Learning Circles
We invite you to participate in the upcoming Learning Circles, a unique opportunity for Indigenous Learners to share experiences and insights. Through two engaging sessions, you’ll have the chance to discuss vital topics such as your journey in selecting a college, your experiences with funding applications, and in accessing the support services available to you like the miyo-pimâtisiwin Centre and the Rupertsland Métis Student Centre. Your voice matters, and by sharing your stories, you can help shape a more inclusive and supportive environment for all Indigenous students at NorQuest.
These Learning Circles will not only build connections with your fellow students but also provide valuable feedback that can improve college services and resources for Indigenous students. Whether you’ve had positive interactions with faculty, staff, or fellow students or faced challenges, your insights are crucial. We look forward to hearing your stories!
Email indigenous@norquest.ca to register.
Deadline to register is October 25.
Please note: Limited seating. Lunch and smudge pans will be given to those in attendance. Look out for updates for the online session later in the month.
